Cause of Steam Ship Sinking Now Uncovered

Recently discovered records reveal that the H.M.S. Oregon was struck by a renegade Viking vessel in a classic ramming maneuver on March 14th, 1886 during its approach to New York harbor. The attacking vessel disappeared into the fog, never to be seen again. Traces of Bar-B-Q smell and laughter were reported by passengers who scrambled to safety aboard life boats. A current  investigation also reveals that a distant relative of the renegade vessel's captain continues to pillage the Oregon to this very day.
